Best Investment in Doors

We wanted to invest in good quality doors and our builder suggested Schuco or SunSeeker. There are quite a few differences between the companies and the products.

Schuco is a huge, huge, huge German company that sells in products via various ‘partners’. We couldn’t even find bi folding doors on its website but found them on installers websites. It’s all about German engineering and very high quality.

SunSeeker is a medium size company specialising in ‘innovative glass doors’ and has been established 10 years. Their website is all about their doors (bi-folds and slide-pivot) and nothing else. Good quality products with kite-marked glass and aluminium frames.

If money was an issue we would have chosen SunSeeker. We chose Schuco and have been waiting several weeks (our builder said that factories in Germany often close for a statutory month). They have just been fitted and look fantastic.
