After struggling away with various double prams for my now 1yo and 2yo (found a problem with sll of them!) i gave up and got a buggypod was umming and arring after reading alot of bad reviews but thought id take the plunge!! I agree with other reviewers, the instructions are definately not the easiest to understand but once id thrown them back in the box i managed to assemble it it does get tricky in places! I decided to fit it to my chicco liteway stroller as this is the one we use for day trips walking etc (for short trips i use m&p zoom and a buggyboard!) after spending not far off an hour fitting it it was definately worth it!! My pram feels exactly same to push as it did without it even up the incredibly steep, rocky bridal paths around my house!!! Imy 1 yo goes in pram and 2 yo on buggypod when he wants to walk its incredibly easy to fold and stays on side of the pram or can easily be removed, we use buses abd trains alot too and my pram folds with it still attatched! It will fit through doorways, even my incredibly narrow one with a bit of a twist! Not one of my side by sides would and tandems were either a nightmare to push or fold and my son refused to go in them this way he gets to sit at the side of his sister and i can get in and out of my house without having to take my kids and everything else out of the pram outside in order to get it in and vice versa!!! Definately the best purchase ive made in a long time one very happy mummy with 2 very happy children! Just wish id of bought one sooner would of saved an awful lot of stress!!!

The buggypod is a fantastic idea, but has a few flaws. The bar on the backrest should be higher, so that the recline can be used (on the smorph 2 edition) if it is used as it is, then my daughter would hit her head on the bar.
The footrest is useless, should be made of rubber like a stroller and there is no-where for my 2 year old daughter to rest her arms.
Other than that it is a great piece of kit!
it doesn't compromise the steering.
I bought it as I also have a 3 month old son and I found that the side by side stroller I was always worrying whether I was going to fit through doors etc.. with this buggypod, if i can't fit, then i take my daughter out, fold the pod up, then put her back in once i'm through!

I brought the Buggypod when my youngest was 1 and my eldest was 2 1/2, and decided he no longer wanted to walk.
It was very difficult to attach to our Maclaren or Silver cross pop. It made the pushchair difficult to steer and was a nightmare up and down curbs. It could do with a handle on it to aid steps. The rain cover made it very narrow and even though my boy is skinny he had to hold his arms in to out in on and so he didnt like it.
I used it a couple of times and found it fiddley to fix on each time and took some pulling off when folding to stroller up. One day when we were shopping the pod suddenly came unattached from the stroller injuring my child. I have to say head office tried to be use full to solve the issue that caused this to happen, but never resovled the issue and stopped returning my calls. needless to say it is now sat useless in my garage and would recommend caution before purchasing. I would recommend a buggy board instead!!!

After what was a stressful set-up we are happy with the product. It looks good (by the way we purchased the smorph) and my son's feels special because it's all his!
