Item: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Series 6
Series 6 of Buffy The Vampire Slayer is something of a let down in terms of momentum following on from Season 5's high action-adventure escapades, and something of a reflective downbeat season - this is the one where Buffy *really* questions her fate....
Highlights include the Emmy award winning 'musical episode', "Once More with Feeling', which is an episode even the non-Buffy fan can't miss.... and the follow up 'Tabula Rasa, also a knockout.

Item: Buffy the Vampire Slayer Series 7
All Buffy fans out there didn't know how they could possibly end this fantastic series without feeling disappointed.
I must admit that out of all the Buffy series this was not my favorite, but they did create an ending that didn't disappoint.
The building of the army of potential slayers did drag a bit and some of the characters were not very strong, also Buffy's motivational talks did become a bit boring and her clashes with Faith also did drag a bit.

Unlike later seasons, this is just 12 episodes long, but Joss Whedon manages to draw the viewer in to care not just about Buffy, but Giles, Willow, Zander, the fight against evil and even Cordelia. A great intro to Buffy but having watched Buffy until it ended, these early episodes seem dated. Especially the monsters and the outfits! However, the characters become more and more well rounded as the season goes on, there are some classic comedy moments and the early stages of Buffy and Angels ...

Item: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Series 5 Box Set
This season is quite a departure from the teeny happy-go-lucky Buffy of the previous seasons. Although they all had their dark and painful moments, Season 5 brings Buffy into an adult world - all the characters grow dramatically. The introduction of Dawn raises a few eyebrows in the first few episodes until all is explained and Glory appears. As a god, she seems truly undefeatable. Spike falling in love with Buffy was a twist I didn't see coming - but didn't seem as wrong as I thought it would! ...
