Signed up to Virgin broadband after 2 desperate years with BT. Big mistake!
Virgin customer services are far worse than BT. They never call back, hang up the phone and do anything they can to get rid of you as quick as possible. They have developed a sophisticated patter which deliberately tries to demean the caller and assumes that everyone is stupid.
The other call centre in Manilla are utterly utterly hopeless. If you want slightly better technical advice, walk mout into the street and ask the nearest cat how to fix your broadband service: the cat is infinitely more knowledgeable than the staff in Manilla. Don't let them promise to ring you back, because they won't and don't EVER give them your moble number as you will be plagued by ad texts forever.
I now have no broadband service at all as I cancelled the installation. The customer services however failed to pass the cancellation on to the engineer and he called and now wants to charge me £75 for a service I do not want. Also beware: customer services number charges £1.53 for the call and 15p a minute after so be warned if you have to hang on.
As for Richard Branson: shame on you for losing touch with your organisation.
