I rarely have problems with Virgin's wireless cable broadband which more than one member of my family uses at the same time. On occasions when it has disconnected, all we've needed to do is turn the router on and off. The speed is good and we can watch i-player without any problems.
I had a problem when they did not connect me properly at first, but continued to charge me for many months when I did not have access to the service. This was finally resolved by one of their engineers who checked the system to prove I had not been using any of their services and he also arranged a refund for me.
The main problem with Virgin is the price. I think the package I am currently on is fairly good value. However, I no longer want the tv and I've found the price of just the phone and broadband to be very expensive. Other providers are offering better deals and more competitive prices, but their reviews on here are poor, but then so are Virgin's!
My experience of Virgin broadband has been good but I'm beginning to think that choosing an ISP is like taking pot luck! It's just a shame that we are tied to them for so long even if their services prove to be no good to us.
