I have Virgin Media 50mb unlimited fibre optic broadband.This is the first broadband that i hate having!!!
Firstly, customer service is terrible.I spent a lot of time/money explaining what i need and in the end i got 30mb broadband, then i spent more time/money getting it correctly.I had to make the call operative to repeat my every word so that they could get it right.
Secondly, i was warned that connection in peak hours might be lower, i wasn't warned that it is almost all the time and connection is disappearing very often, although my pc technician said that from my side everything is working properly.
Finally, unlimited download isn't unlimited at all. I received letter today saying that i am downloading too much and that it badly affects other custmers(with all due respect to them) in my area.Quoting:"...Then, if your usage during the hours of 9am to 9pm daily still doesn't reduce significantly, your broadband service could be temporarily suspended or permanently disconnected without further notice.Of course we'd much rather it didn't come to this."I didn't think that i will have to pay money to Virgin and take care for other customers what Virgin should do by improving their servers...
