“Rebooting router”

I still have to reboot my router on occasion to connect to the internet. I have contacted your technical department and fitted filters on my telephone lines. I have even put an additional filter on my router connection at the telephone connection box Yet still on occasion have to power down the router to get internet connection. This goes away for a while then returns again.I have already rebooted the router twice this week.The system should be more reliable. I did at one point request a new router.This was maybe a couple of years ago. nothing came of that.
