I am putting this review on for my 93 year old mum, shes very PC savy but I have had to deal with TalkTalk for her due to appalling accents by their staff. After the hacking problems last year they offered my mum a FREE mobile SIM card for a year which she accepted. But I discovered that they were taking money from her account for this (free) offer. Whats worse is that I have now had three conversations with their 'help' center, every time they have promised the refund by cheque but its never arrived. £6.61 may not be much to them but its a lot to an OAP. Im a retired Systems Engineer and I find them despicable. I now have to look to OFCOM to help get my mums money back. They are untrustworthy and dishonest in my opinion.
