Don't use talktalk. They have acquired a lot of providers and managed to grow their share of the market and disatisfy many thousands of customers - the majority of poor reviews on this site are testimony to that fact. They tell us things are improving and they do care about their customers - I truly hope this is the case. We developed a line fault and their efforts to fix it are painful and ironically their communication skills are quite poor. For example they arrange engineers to visit without telling you and then wonder why nobody is in or they turn up but ring the wrong door or for some reason don't get access whilst you sit waitig for them. Third time lucky tomorrow for an engineer to visit and resolve this issue. We're lucky to be able to fall back on 3G. We'll be looking elsewhere once this fault is fixed - which is a shame as the broadband rates that we get are actually very good. For a company of their size you'd hope that they'd have a way of turning bad customer perceptions and interactions into good ones - rather than disputing whether we are having good or bad service - it's called using discretion and or goodwill - we'll wait and see what happens!
