If you are looking for a budget Internet service and a phone package this is the company to go for . With the phone line you get 0870 and 0845 numbers added for free.

After being a customer with these lot for two years I haggled another year of value phone and Internet service and also got a new N router for free . Took me a lot of effort but got there eventually with getting a great loyalty discount . As they say a crying baby gets fed. My overall new monthly cost for the plus package is now only £16.75 a month including the value line rental.

The average Internet speed I get is 9.25mbps. You may need to replace your router if you are on the essential package as the one supplied had issues with wireless connections and used to drop connection all the time, replacement routers are dead cheap from eBay. I picked one up for £11 including postage and packaging,I also managed to sell the one supplied for the same money. Still waiting for the new router from talktalk and hope this one performs well.

Overall a great company to go for and by far the cheapest then the others unless you can haggle the price down with the others.

You still have to bare in mind that they use the BT line so the quality should be same as BT, it all depends on your router.
