“A rare find for rural broadband”

Usually broadband in the countryside is useless, whether your provider has promised 'up to XX' speeds or not, but Solway promise an actual speed, and deliver! I work a few miles outside Carlisle, and around me the speeds range from 0.2 Mb/s to maybe 1.5 Mb/s on a good day. Upgrades and rollouts have been promised, but nothing ever seems to happen! Solway do it wirelessly, using fibre-optic, so through them i get the Super Business package, whcih is 10 Mb/s download (very useful for Iplayer,... (read more)
