Just moved house. Previous house was bog-standard BT line, I had a 6Mb connection.

Was promised between 7 and 14.3Mb by Sky (where do they get such a precise number from, plucked it out of their a**e I think!). My router downstream spd is set at 2.2Mb, which gives a speedtest.net result of 1.9Mb.

3 times slower than my old gaff, over 3.5 times slower than they promised. Sky = utter bo**ocks.

As for those of you who complain about their customer service, I'm afraid that's the dumbing down of British society for you. IMO ALL customer service in this country is the same. Inept, incompetent, indolent and less use than a snooze button on a smoke alarm!!
