I've been with plusnet for over 10 years, always been good, sorting out problems quickly, and easy to get hold of.
Recently my broadband contact came to an end, they called me and persuaded me top renew on what I thought was a good deal, thought no more about it until my first bill arrived and was £10 to much.
Tried phoning them and couldn't get through, I eventually managed to speak to someone through their virtual assistant on their Web site, thru couldn't help and said it would be looked at on Monday, this was Saturday.
Monday came and went trying to call them was a waste of time, I did get someone on their twitter account to escalate the problem, I was promised it would be sorted by Monday, another Monday came and went, more wasted time trying to get through to them.
Finally a week later they replied, basically saying tough you agreed to it and if you want a recording of the telephone conversation you have to phone us up and pay £10, I explained I've been trying to call them for the weeks, tough, that's what you have to do.
I'm now hoping my broadband goes down so I can leave the contract early.
Reading around the web and is clear plusnet is folding under the pressure, there's even a poll on their members forum asking if they should suspend advertising as they're not delivering what they promise.
Plusnet are now a complete joke, if you're thinking of moving to them, think again, there are people on their forum asking why they haven't been connected for months, check their Facebook page, it's comment after comment from customers pulling their hair out from the awful service and not able to contact them.
