Been with orange since they were wanadoo and had untill rescently a wanadoo g band router, which due to age became unstable (cycling its own power) orange were first convinced( without seeing anything) that it was fine, 3 hour long calls later and they agreed it had had its day, but wouldnt replace and would only offer a new contract with a new free router (netgear dgn1000) which btw is a pile of #### as its signal dropped frequently and it would overheat if more than 1 user attempted to go gaming (causing a power cycle) 5 phone calls later and they decided to give me a brightbox. Cant really say anything too bad about the new box appart from its nothing special and sometimes does not give out ip. Now ive discovered when gaming the connection drops again, this time i have local and everything else is fine (wifi printer ect) but no internet. Presumebly this is annother p.o.s. at the server end that orange refuse to upgrade or maintain, although it does make me wobder hiw much fault was really on the faulty routers and how much was their server not being stable.
