I acquired a new business in the 1st September and agreed a contract with BT. I had not heard of Onebill Telecom, but now know quite a lot about their business methods. They have refused to hand over the phone number which the business has used for decades. This appears to be a spoiler to stop me from going with BT. Onebill have sent letters and phoned me to try and get me to sign up with them and I have said no. Three weeks into the business we do not have a phone line, cannot take credit card transactions which is proving very costly. It5 will take several weeks of BT requesting the number transfer back to them so that we can get back on line. Onebill Telecom are an outfit I've never heard of, yet have a serious adverse affect on my business. My advice to anyone is to be very aware of them and the way they conduct business. I would certainly never sign up with them.
