my home broadband stopped working, so I signed up with BT Fon to receive a 1 day connection for £ 5, after payment by credit card I received a countdown of 1 hour.
At the time I didn't understand why the heck I received 1 hour service instead of 1 day and I needed to connect urgently to the internet, so , like a fool, I signed up again with BT FON because it was the only wireless service available that I could find. I filled in the form for £ 5, but received an error message and it did not complete the payment, so I gave up. Then I found out that I was charged £ 5 even though I received no payment confirmation. I tried to contact them, but obviously, they make it really hard as there's no obvious contact info on their website. I felt like an angry fool. I just sent an email to the advice bureau and I'll go to sleep after writing this negative review.
