“RAC = Bad attitude, incompetent and poor public...”

★☆☆☆☆

Someone interested in a car I have for sale asked if they could have it inspected by the RAC, which I had no objection to.
The RAC inspector came (with a bad attitude from the start) started the car and asked for the paperwork, which I gave to him. He started the car and looked under the bonnet and then turned the car off. He continued to check over the car for around 30-40 minutes. I watched from inside the house and saw him checking various panels for rust including the front wings (which are plastic on a Megane).
Then he knocks on the door to tell me the battery has gone flat. No problem i said, it has been stood for a while, can you jump start it ? No we don't carry jump leads ....but surely you're not just going to leave it like this, after all you're the one who has flattened the battery testing the cars electrics for over half hour without the engine running. Attitude starts again so I say that's not very professional, I'm making a complaint. To which he then replies The engine just cut out. No it didn't you've flattened the battery.
The inspector then leaves me with the car facing the wrong way on my drive for a jump start so that I have to put the battery on charge (good job I had a charger).
After waiting several minutes on hold I get through to RAC customer services and inform them I'm not happy with what's happened. Their response...we will not except this complaint !
I always thought the RAC we're the ones to help get your car started not vice versa !!
RAC = Bad service, incompetence and poor public relations !
