I had to call out the breakdown service on two consecutive days. The 1st day was excellent and the garage arrived in 40 minutes. The battery was faulty ( since been exchanged under guarantee for a new one). The 2nd callout was a total disaster.It took 1hr & 30 mins for breakdown service to arrive. I had to ring the call centre 3 times. They said that the garage "had lost their way", 2nd time I phoned, I was told they had gone to the "wrong destination". 3rd phone call, I was informed the service was "in the area" which it was not. On arrival I informed the mechanic what I had been told. He replied that was all rubbish, and he had NOT lost his way or gone to the wrong destination! he stated that he had aboutn60 callouts that day for cars failing to start. He added that "The Call Centre should have been more honest" and told me the truth. I give 5 stars to the 1st callout,but I'm minded to give NONE for the 2nd call next day.I took the car to my garage and they found a defective alternator which has been replaced. This was not spotted by the rescue service.
