quick & efficient

Whilst having a weekend away we had problems with our car (and a lack of brakes). We phoned around locally to where we staying and nobody was able to help us. We phoned Gem as we had a membership with them and they promptly and efficiently answered the phone and took relevant details. They advised us that somebody would be with us within the hour. We then received a text confirming this.
Sure enough the tow truck arrived within the hour. I say tow truck as they had aready advised us on the phone that they probably would not be able to resolve the problem there and then. This saved us having to wait for someone to come and have a look at the problem, and then wait again for a tow truck to arrive.
The tow truck driver was very careful, but quick with loading the car.
He then drove us the 3 and a half hour drive back to our house, whilst regailing us with humorous stories and would not even stop for a cup of tea before he began his long journey back again.
Overall the service could not have been better.
I changed to Gem a couple of years ago as I had big problems with the AA not turning up when they said etc, and am glad I did.
My membership with Gem is now up for renewal. and I have no qualms in staying with them for a further year.
