ALSO ASKED FOR CREDIT CARD DETAILS ETC TO TAKE IT TO THE GARAGE AT COST.
THEY ALSO WANTED PROOF THAT LAST TIME THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED BY OUR GARAGE EVEN THOUGH IT WAS FIXED AT THE ROADSIDE AND NEEDED NO FURTHER CORRECTION...WE ARE GOING TO GO THROUGH THIS CONTRACT WITH A FINE TOOTH COMB AND WILL BE TAKING THIS FURTHER, I HAVE NEVER KNOWN SUCH A DISGUSTING BUSINESS AND BY THE END OF THIS HOPEFULLY THEY WONT HAVE ONE...PLEASE HELP BY DOING THE SAME AS IT SEEMS WE ARE ALL IN THE SAME BOAT...

We have had an issue with First Call since we broke down on our way back from Yorkshire. Charged us £235 to get home - could not repair at side of A1 at 7pm. We then had a letter saying that we would be charged another £110 if we did not send confirmation the vehicle had been fixed. We have got nowhere with our claim and the only answer is to take them to the small claims court. But there is another answer - tell everyone you know about your experience and stop them making the same mistake. I can hurt them more than £235 by taking this action and more importantly stop other people falling into the same trap. I know some people are thinking of setting up a Facebook page to warn others but so far I must have stopped at least 25 people from using them and they are now telling all there friends.
