Alexpricedavies's review of AA Breakdown Cover

“An absolute shambles! Avoid at all costs!!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Alexpricedavies on 16/07/2015

First of all,I'm annoyed I have to give them 1 star. I shouldn't have to give any!! My husband has broken down less than 10 mins from our house. The front wheels of his BMW have BUCKLED.Called the AA as hes member (won't be any more by first thing in the morn!!) This was at 10PM.Stressed to them that although it's policy to send a van from first,it's pointless. Please send a flatbed. The operator agreed...Yet TWO VANS LATER my husband us still by the road side. Promised on the 3rd attempt that flat bed would be with with him by 12. Then they changed it to 12:20!! Hes sat there as we speak, and by time recovery is due it will have been 2 and a half hours since he called AA!! Disgraceful. You're about to lose a whole heap of custom!

You're just a number sweetheart and the sooner you realise that the sooner you will figure it all out. That heap of custom you purport to wield at the AA wouldn't even put enough fuel in one of their vans to attend your breakdown. They don't care if you leave as there will be 100x ex rac etc customers with the same sob story switching to the aa next year. 10 mins from home? Should have got a taxi back and waited in comfort (with you nagging him about how he crashed into something to break the car! No wonder he was ok to wait eh!)

Lol shocked someone even replied to this comment all these months later but I've got a spare minute so I'll give your reply a response...
Yeah mate. 100% correct in your view of the AA.
But just to clarify.
1) He asked me to publicly shame the AA Ina review site as he was livid being stood there.
2) We are licensed firearms holders so leaving the car to come home to "comfort" was not an option. The car would have been flagged as an abandoned vehicke possible firearms aboard. Not good for the licensing renewals to say the least but not something he shouldn't had to worry about as the AA should have recovered him long before that hour.
3) He wouldn't get nagged for breaking his car luv. That's his toy he can break if he likes. My BMW is my toy and it's still got its wheels in tact
