“Would not come out ”

written by DillanReynolds410 on 13/01/2024

Called as my car would not start As I had called them out 4months ago for the same thing They asked for proof I had changed the battery Emailed them a screenshot of my receipt Not good enough as I had the battery changed and fitted at Halfords they had no details the car the battery was fitted to was mine . The woman on the phone was very curt and cruel even as I explained I had a broken ankle and had to go to hospital she said sorry there’s nothing we can do . Disgustingly bad company . Had to ask a neighbour for a lift . Romaine Syme

“Outstandingly appalling ”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Deeswife on 27/11/2023

If I could give less than1*I certainly would. I had spent the day at a retreat centre, that was obscured from the road. I had a flat battery, and was in a major city, so assumed that this would be dealt with quickly and efficiently. The wait time to speak with an agent was ridiculous, and a recorded message asked that, when prompted, I give my location with relevant landmarks. I was parked outside a huge car showroom and mot centre, that had properties on both sides of the road. I could park there because it was a Sunday and they were closed. So, I gave these properties as a landmark. I was put on hold, and then informed that they would not attend, as the policy excluded assistance when in a car is in a repair centre. I was parked outside a closed repair centre, on a Sunday night in the rain, 50 minutes away from home. I could not reason with the agent, it was like speaking with a robot. He offered me assistance outside of my policy, starting at £120. So, as a disabled 65 year old woman, I had to sleep in the car until morning, when the offending repair centre opened and assisted me. Totally disgusting company with no assistance in an emergency.

“Just to advise that this company (Emergency Assist...”

★☆☆☆☆

written by cwillsher on 25/08/2023

Just to advise that this company (Emergency Assist Ltd) is clearly a call centre sham operator in the Emergency Breakdown sector. I have been researching them since they left me stranded in the New Forest with a simple flat battery - this on their Premium Breakdown policy! I spoke to 4 operators and supervisors who all refused to send help, claiming 'human error'. This despite their listing stating '...our Premium with excess breakdown cover is specifically designed for the average motorist who wishes to be covered in every eventuality.’ Clearly not! They won;t even come out for a simple jump start or refuel. Mine is far from the worst review I have since read about them. They are clearly just a call centre sham with no intention of sending help. Read their 1-star reviews on TrustPilot (not the fake 5-star ones they pay for) or visit their, seemingly unmoderated, Facebook page where it is clear that countless, vulnerable customers have been left in danger at the roadside. I am alerting Trading Standards, the Finacial Ombudsman, BBC Watchdog and anyone who might be interested. I suggest you all do the same. Drive safe!

“Avoid Avoid avoid”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Mario326 on 23/06/2023

Avoid Avoid Avoid, they will suck you dry. I got a breakdown callout and the recovery guy was reluctant to take my car to a garage. They then charged me £98.40 for cancelling when I never. The complaints dept are like talking to a brick wall. Avoid them at all costs, pay the extra and go with the usual names which is what I will be doing from now on.

Absolutey useless . Do not waste your money . Had engine management light come on then car went into idle mode, eventually car wouldnt start. Had to pay 300 plus pounds to be taken home . Think again before you waste your money ,they might be cheap but please read the small print. Thought that a car breaking down and not starting would be covered . Will never use this company again

“As useful as a chocolate teapot”

★☆☆☆☆

written by JMB74 on 15/06/2023

This is my second year with emergency assist recovery service and with my car breaking down on Friday, I though this would be sorted pretty soon. This is obviously not the case. Both agents I spoke to on Friday pretty much said that because the car still drives (with a big red warning light saying 'stop vehicle, vehicle too low), they would not recover my vehicle... Intimating that I should drive the vehicle in a dangerous condition. Bearing in mind, the suspension has completely collapsed. This would've been exceptionally dangerous. To add insult to injury, both agents also hung up on me. Not very professional. I eventually got home much later that evening. Saturday morning, I spoke to Anwar who was much more helpful. He even offered to waive the extra 7 miles difference to get my car to Mercedes in Stevenage, probably because he realised just how badly the two on Friday had messed up. Everything was agreed by Anwar so fast forward to today, the following Tuesday. A wait of over two hours for the recovery agent who stated in his call to emergency assist that my car would need a tilt and slide or hiab due to how low the car is. He'd arrived with the wrong kind of recovery vehicle. I heard him tell emergency assist this... I then get a voicemail stating that I need specialist equipment due to how low the vehicle is... Not what I heard the agent tell them. This whole experience has been awful. I had to arrange my own recovery due to this useless company. Funnily enough, the recovery agent I arranged had no issues recovering my vehicle. Emergency assist refused to send a tilt and slide recovery truck but instead tried to extort well over the £350 to get a hiab out to me. I'm guessing just another way to make money whilst having you over a barrel. My advice... Don't use this company as they'll attempt to worm their way out of doing what you've paid them to do. Their premium cover is about as useful as the proverbial chocolate teapot! You have been warned. UPDATE I had to arrange my own recovery at a cost of £170 because these sham artists apparently consider a tilt and slide recovery truck as specialist equipment. It's not. A hi-ab is, which is why they insisted that my vehicle could only be recovered with one! At my expense... Isn't it amazing that the recovery firm I used and paid for myself, sent out a tilt and slide recovery truck and as per the photos, had my car loaded and ready to go in 10 minutes. I've been trying to recover my £170 from this joke of a company because they haven't done what they're supposed to do but was recently told that they will not be refunding me this. There really is no point to this company and it would appear that the CEO doesn't really care about it either. Out of principle, I'll be seeing this lot in small claims court. I also am very dubious about any 5 star ratings given the sheer incompetence I've experienced. I'm if the opinion that these have been bought and paid for, to counter balance all the 1 star ratings they've got. This company would get zero stars if it was an option. And no, I won't be contacting customer care team in your complaints department. They also refuse to do anything over the phone. Instead it's a looonnnggg drawn out process via email. Pathetic UPDATE I'm guessing my application to the small claims court worked... The bosses must have reviewed my case and seen the absolute incompetence of the buffoons working for them. My advice. If you think you're in the right, keep all evidence, request all transcripts of conversations with them and put your claim in. Took me about 45 mins to complete the claim and pay the £35 court costs. I got my costs and my money I had to fork out for a competent recovery agent, paid back in full. Don't stand for their nonsense. They know they're rubbish and until you stand up to them, they'll try and get away with poor service. Just don't use them.

“Run away, you'll certainly not get their help driving away”

★☆☆☆☆

written by on 14/06/2023

I was following an ambulance that was taking my gran to hospital when there was a loud bang and smoke from my car. My exhaust had half fallen off. It was really scary. Once i'd caught my breath, I thought, it'll be ok, i have breakdown, I'll just call them and they'll send someone to get me to a garage. I couldn't have been more wrong. The man in their call centre was so rude, and basically said, they would only send someone if the engine stopped working, nothing else counts as a breakdown for them. If i could still turn the key, and the lights come on, no one would be coming out. I asked him to show me where in my contract it said about only coming out for engine failure, he couldn't. I explained that not only was I on my way to the hospital A&E but I was also disabled, and now stranded in a broken car, he just laughed at me, saying he doubted I was disabled, and continued to be rude. He said he didn't care about the smoke and the exhaust hanging off, the engine still worked so I should just drive it to a garage. But even if I could have got the car moving, dragging the exhaust along underneath, google seems to think that's not legal, and would cause even more of the fumes to be breathed in, as well as being a risk to other drivers. I asked to speak to his manager, he refused. The only consession he would make would be to charge me £890 for someone to come out! I truely don't understand how a company, or another person, could ever treat anyone like that. They don't deserve one star. Any money given to them is a waste of money in my opinion.

“Appalling service ”

★☆☆☆☆

written by RonnieCarson234 on 28/04/2023

My Daughter broke down on a motorway,She waited more than 20 minutes to get through to someone.Still she could not get to speak to someone. When I phoned on behalf to report the breakdown, this was about 8.30 pm,the estimated time of arrival would be 60 to 90 minutes. She was still on the motorway slip road at 10 Pm and was then advised the estimated time would be around midnight. She was left with 2 very young child in the car. What an absolute appalling service. In the end the Motorway patrol came to her assistant and helped her out. I cancelled the callout and was told they would still charge her £98 pound would be charged. The charge will be contested and the company will be slated all over social media. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU NEED HELP

“Agent lost the keys - must be my fault.”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Schofieldys336 on 20/03/2023

We have been with them for several years on both cars, but will not renew or recommend them. Emergency Assist were tasked with the recovery of my car. They sent a local agent (JLM Recovery and Rescue). The agent said he would be an hour, but took 2.5 hours. He quickly loaded the car and we were away. When we reached the destination, he had lost the car key. Emergency Assist say it is my fault for giving him the key. But couldn't explain how he would load the car without the key. Emergency Assist say it is nothing to do with them and advise us to take JLM to Court. The initial 'Good Value' premium isn't so great when you have to add on the cost of replacing your Car Key. Beware, they will send anyone to recover you and then say it's your fault if anything goes wrong.

“Do Not Use!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by PaulAshdown on 27/02/2023

Be very careful! You’re not covered for what you think, the service is terrible and you are misled to about what you can claim back. Do not use! I paid for National Breakdown cover with Emergency Assist via Cover My. National Breakdown cover DOES NOT get your car home. I only found this out after breaking down, so I was left stranded in central London on a Saturday evening. I was told I had to find a garage to be towed to and they would not send out a truck until I found somewhere. Have you ever tried to find an open garage on a Saturday evening? It’s impossible. In London even finding a street without parking restrictions is very difficult. Once I luckily did find somewhere I could leave my car locally (thanks to a friend) it took the recovery vehicle 3 hours to arrive. On the phone that evening I was promised onward travel and that I could use different methods of transport. When trying to claim this back they would only payout for one method of transport contrary to what I was told on the day. Even after a complaint, when I explained that I was told on the phone multiple modes of transport were acceptable, they would not payout. I am referring this awful company to the ombudsman. Very, very poor service both on the night and administratively afterwards.

“Demand for £98.40 to cancel non attendance”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Carissa1955 on 15/02/2023

My battery didn't start on a freezing January night when I had to call them so I can get back home, the agent mentioned cancellation script which at that time didn't mean anything to me, I didn't in a million years expect not to need them to get back. I am a diabetic, Asthmatic with Cirrhosis of the liver who was freezing and needed help to get home, while I was in the car freezing with my hand and feet numb, a couple on their way back from a night out knocked on my window and asked if I needed help, I explained that my battery was flat when they went and brought a battery starter and got it going. I couldn’t stop the car for the fear of the battery not starting again and as I drove off, I called back EA to cancel the request, no one picked up the phone so I called their mechanic who thanked me for letting him know and assured me it was all sorted, their mechanic didn’t come to help me because he was aware that my battery was started and he didn’t need to come. My priority was to return home as I needed my injections and couldn’t just sit in the middle of a January night in a freezing car because of their unfair rules, now they're demanding £98.40 and insist I should have drove back and stayed in the car regardless of how long they were going to take or how cold the night was.

“Non existent service”

★☆☆☆☆

written by GeoffST66 on 16/12/2022

My son's fiesta wouldn't start today. I spent 45 minutes on the landline to report the fault, after which the battery died on the phone. I then used my mobile and gave up after an hour and 10 minutes waiting for somebody from their call centre to pick up. My son's policy is due for renewal on the 26th December. Needless to say he will not be renewing. What if the car had broken down on the open road with vulnerable occupants in this weather? They are quick to take my son's subscription, but he has basically paid for a non existent service.

“Steer clear at all costs ”

★☆☆☆☆

written by MiltonWood62 on 06/12/2022

Steer clear at all costs. Having broke down it took 45 minutes to get through, they never asked if i was, safe or ok. At 5. 15 pm They told id be recovered before 7.09 pm, 30 minutes after that time, i was told another 15.no one arrived in the next 45, it took me 40 minutes to get through to them, very upset i explained the situation, no apologies no empathy, he told me he would contact them And call straight back, 25 minutes later he hadnt called, i then try to call back again and spoke to the same person, who simply told me in a tone, that he hadnt called me back because he was busy and only him working, again zero apologies and obviously didnt care, its now nearly 10pm, they eventually came after 10pm. Absolutely diabolical experience, Emergency recovery has taken over 5 hours and numerous calls. You only find out how good a com is when you need to use a service, i would wholeheartedly advise to steer clear, a single woman breakdown and never even asked if i was safe, only if they could get access to the car.

Annetas's Comment

Totally agree . . You don't realise how useless a service is until you try to access it. I broke down today and took 30mins to get through on phone. They spent time going over all my details and pinpointing location. They texted me the nos of 2 local garages for ME to call re recovery. I was supposed to call back advising which one I wished to use. I asked if this would be on the same phoneline that it just took me 30mins to access. Yes! It was the only number. . Academic in the end, cos neither of the recommended garages could help. Tried phoning them back but reluctant to wait another 30 min as I'd already been stranded over an hour & it was now dark.. Organised my own recovery. No one called me back. For all they know I'm still stuck . Im a 67 yr old female and was travelling alone.

“Abominable service ”

★☆☆☆☆

written by AChuter on 04/12/2022

My car would not start so I called for someone to come out. I was not aware that my tax had run out due to moving house and I was charged £161 instead of the £30 excess. Even though I could pay the tax immediately, they wouldn't budge. The mechanic arrives, takes 2 minutes to look at the engine and decides the battery is at fault. Jump-start the car but doesn't look at anything else. The car doesn't want to start up again without the jump leads but he says the alternator is fine, it just needs a new battery and I can drive to a garage to buy one. So I take the car and on the way the car completely breaks down. No power, nothing. I phone them again, obviously the mechanic has made a mistake and now I'm stranded, in a dangerous place. To my surprise and astonishment they didn't want to know and wanted another few hundred pounds to come out again as they said they wouldn't come out for the same problem twice. But if the mechanic had checked properly he would have advised me that the car needed towing to a garage to be fixed, not driven. I was so disgusted with them, I called another company to tow the car, costing me another £150! They say they provide such fantastic service but this is beyond abominable.

“Checked my bank statement found I have been charged by...”

written by andy6638 on 19/11/2022

Checked my bank statement found I have been charged by 2gether insurance for last 3 years. I did use them,so called them, then I know 2gether and emergency, they are same company, why do they have 2 name,I think everyone knows the reason. I bought emergency breakdown cover in oct 2020, next year,in 2021,I bought their service again from groupon. I send the request to use the voucher to renew my policy. They told me all solved. But they stii charged me from my bank,so for the same car same acount, they charged twice. I asked how can you do that? They replied, they didn't use my voucher to renew my policy, they opened a new policy for me,and auto renewed my old policy. I asked how can you let one car have same policy twice? they replied, you want to buy,it is your problem. They didn't do anything wrong. Then I asked why did you only send me one policy, didn't send another one?she replied,oh, I can send you now if you want.Haha, that is funny!! This year. I read some honest review about this company,so I decide to not use them. The money of I saved will cause me big trouble if I need their help. I received renew email said if I don't call or go online to renew my policy,I will lose it. In this case,I don't need to do anything, the contract will be end.I think I am too simple. They renewed again and no email or anything to inform you about the renew. they told me everything is my fault, they didn't give a penny back. So please think again and carefully before you buy their service. KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

“Shocking Service - Avoid”

★☆☆☆☆

written by York40 on 17/09/2022

Shocking experience overall. Refused to attend without an upfront payment of £670. On 13 August I called them as battery had drained due to lights being left on while sat with engine of.They took over 9 hours to attend. All it needed was a jump start which took 2 mins and a trip to garage after advised me there was nothing wrong with the battery. On 14 SEP during a long drive the engine cut out. Spent well over an hour on the phone to them trying to get assistance. They wanted £670 payment up front to recover me saying I had a non start issue over a month previously and as such I needed to prove it had been resolved. They knew the non start problem was due to the battery being drained due to lights being left and there was no issue to be resolved. They insisted without proof of this I would not be assisted from my unsafe location on A66 unless I paid them £670. I said they were holding me to ransom so I would pay ....they then put me in hold for over mins then hung up. Shocked and appalled by their gross negligence and lack of care. I paid a friend to come collect me. It was freezing cold and my signal on my phone was getting low. I then had to arrange collection of my own vehicle. I am shocked and appalled by their disgraceful response. The breakdown on 14 September and non start due to a drained battery were not connected so their behaviour can only be described as beyond attrocious. EMERGENCY ASSIST CANNOT BE RELIED UPON TO ASSIST IN AN EMERGENCY.....AVOID. I have demanded return if my costs and will be pursuing through the courts due to their breach of contractual obligations if not satisfied. Also be aware...when you breakdown I Have known them take at least 39 mins to answer the call before they even start trying to avoid assisting.

“Wait until you are vulnerable then fleece you - be warned”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Paul131313 on 22/08/2022

Bought premium cover with no excess. You only find out how they work when you ring them after breaking down - when you are vulnerable. Were not even interested in looking at the car, a call centre operative decided over then phone that it could not be fixed. Then charged £250 to get the car and my 19 year old home 83 miles away. Utterly disgusting. Be warned and do yourself a favour, go with the AA or RAC they are far cheaper and actually send a trained mechanic out to see if the car can be fixed. Utterly disgusted, you have been warned.

You have to call the Breakdown recovery number they give you, not another company. If they can't get you started they tow you to a nearby garage to do the repair. I have only broken down once and the driver didn't actually have repair skills or even jump leads so I think the service is basically just a rescue service and will just tow the vehicle to a nearby garage for them to fix.

General role is to find reputable genuine recovery insurance, Feedback shouldn’t be count up as they wanted you to rate them as soon as you buy your policy, that is wrong you rate a business on it excellence after delivery not before?. Cheap doesn’t mean good? as some out there they took your money but they don’t deliver, they use trick’s to make you pay like if you don’t have insurance, you may end up Paying them more than you pay to recover yourself with our insurance? Or they will leave you at risk, stranded when you need them? Read and understand terms and conditions before you put the document away, question any think you don’t understand E.G, one cheap recovery company permanently at the top of comparison web-site doesn’t recover you if you breakdown in a motor way (European cover), like if they are asking you to pick where to breakdown!!, on their terms they cover 5 passengers including driver, if you have 7 seater be aware they may say you are not covered, they wanted you a to call them before you travel even if you do you have to prove it!!!! Or you not covered, and list goes on and on, also record your communication’s, to avoid all this don’t go for cheap there is some leading company’s out there they charge you also they deliver responsibly if you genuinely breakdown. The answer to your question is you have to call them direct on the number they provide for you to recover you if you lucky!!!!!????

I called them before I went on holiday to enquire about the number of passenger in my MPV and I mention that I was going away in the next few days.  On the way back from holiday I break down between Paris and Callies I called, before I even explain the situation I been told I am not covered, for two reasons N:1 I was on motorway N:2 I should call 48 hours before I left UK, the only help they offer me is to give them £500 pounds to open an account so they can charge me, and I should pay the final cost of the recovery?  Then I been left with my wife and five children at risk and deserted in the middle of nowhere? I did gave them several attempt to correct the situation but they prefer to Brush me off. Has anyone else experienced this?

On the way back from holiday I break down between Paris and Callies I called, before I even explain the situation I been told I am not covered, for two reasons N:1 I was on motorway N:2 I should call 48 hours before I left UK, the only help they offer me is to give them £500 pounds to open an account so they can charge me, and I should pay the final cost of the recovery? . Then I been left with my wife and five children at risk and deserted in the middle of nowhere? I did gave them several attempt to correct the situation but they prefer to Bruch me off

Each time I have had to use them they only offered a recovery service, no roadside assistance, even for a simple jump start, their excuse being " it might damage my electrical system" . Obviously they have never heard of fuses. My advice, pay a bit extra and go with somebody more reliable.

They have come out to me at home and elsewhere. They try to increase the premium each year but you can haggle. They only come out about 6 times a year, where as more expensive plans are unlimited

I have had to call them out twice now in two years. Once per year. Both for a flat battery. Both times that towed me to the local garage. I had never had to pay extra or indeed had any issues. The first time it happened, it was a old battery and they asked for proof that I had a new one installed and replaced. So I just sent them a copy of the invoice from the garage. Over-all for the price paid, I have been exceptionally happy and now problems. They use local independant garages and tow people, so not a chain. Both times the drivers and repair men have been friendly, non judgemental or indeed stubbon, just great service and evcellent value. Hope this helps?

I would agree with the answer below about only offering a recovery se.rvice. The driver didn't even have jump leads and was not experienced enough to know simple basics of getting a vehicle started. I have only needed to use them once and I knew (and told the driver) that I had inadvertently allowed the battery to go flat and did not want to pay for a new battery or get towed / removed to a local garage. Basically I just needed 'home start'.......they went away without doing anything and I ended up paying a local mobile repair man to start it with industrial-quality jumpleads from his van. Started first time and has been going ever since (approx. 6 months ago). Saved money in the long run. I will pay a bit extra next time to get proper home start on my policy

They seem to have contracts with independent recovery company's and on 3 occasions I have used them that is all they offered. No roadside assistance, not even to jump a flat battery. So after being recovered I still had to pay the garage. I would have thought that a 3 minute jump start would have been better for them than having to uplift my bike.they do come out with interesting excuses for not doing roadside assist. I am only staying with them as I have had a full refund on my premium. If you use this company I hope you get better service than I received.

I have been with 2Gether for 3 years but fortunately i've never had to call them out. What I can tell you is that their handling of phone calls is very fast & helpful so I would reckon you wouldn't have a long wait for recovery. .............& their prices beat all!

Probably about a week this is the worst breakdown service ever, when they do attend very slow and they use every excuse in the book not to attend

I had a long wait in Falkirk for recovery, got an apology and full refund and they continued my cover. They do seem to care for their customers. Better than the rubbish service I got from the AA.

I can not say. All I know is what happened to me and after waiting four hours to only get help to take me just over a mile. I could of pushed the car home quicker ( there was a lot of down hill on the way home) Most people who give them a good review do so about the price, I have not seen a good review about the actual service so my advice would be to stay away. Get cover from anyone else

If you broke down anywhere within the UK mainland, make sure you have an alternative to get you back on track as a back up first. Keep your documentation on paer copies in the car and also on a smart phone. Keep the breakdown number as well and ask them to call you back if you are on a pay as you go sim. If on the motorway look out for the emergency telephones and make sure everyone is out of the vehicle and off the hard shoulder. You might have to have your credit card handy to pay for emergency repairs or get someone to collect you if all fails. As I already hadbraekdown cover you should be attended to within an hour orless if you are a female with kids or vulnerable. With my perosonal experience is academic as I knew how I had to sit on a freezing cold midnight as my kness could not take kneeling down due to sharp jagged stones cutting into my knees and making them bleed. I asked forrescue and it was apparent that my cries for help went without any aid. I struggled with an elderly brain cancer patient, my wife who has no clue about cars except how to drive and two kids who are too young to undestand except being frightened by the experience. I had paid for breakdown and it was too be reassured that you would be helped. NO thats not the case, I paid to be told I am not covered by 2together Insurance for a breakdown policy that really is worth anything. Added insult I am offered £20.00 GBP voucher to spend atvenues orretailers that I never use and I am supposed to accept this. I do not think so. I am so fed up of the whole industry either being to expensive and giving poor service that I have started a charity where I will help and all the customer has to do is pay for parts not labour and if fixed at a roadside in my county, they have to donated to one of the designated charities andf ontain a letter of thanks to proove that we are all human and we need to help each other, not make a profit for shareholders and fat cats. I got a quote for $49.00 for my car, but could not proceed any further as it kept saying passwords don't match. What should I do? Could you also tell me does this quote get me and the passengers and car to our destination or back home whichever we choose, or do they just take us to the nearest garage, can you help please?

Yes their full package will take you and your passengers home or to your destination. However, I would not proceed with this company if I were you. I was with them for 2 years and I thought they were great until I had to use the service. It was absolutely appalling and their call centre staff told me blatant lies. You really do get what you pay for and I would not go near them again. I am now with Asda. £70 for the year and they offer everything that 2Gether do. There is also an option to pay monthly, which works out at about £6.99 over 12 months.

From experience I would telephone the breakdwon company direct as the customer service has been very good in my opinion.
Report this content Phoenixmc Written on: 01/09/2016
I have had very good experiences with them. However check the wording and ask the question direct to them as getting you home does not mean you and your car! It is to the nearest garage or to a destination within 50 miles. This is common with most breakdown companies! They do offer a hire car onward train travel or overnight accommodation and so will get you and your passengers home! But not necessarily your car! That said I would recommend them - but check the small print and ask direct questions.

If you have a policy with the company you will have received paper policy documents this is where your full details of cover will be.
Report this content Englandron Written on: 28/08/2014
GailSO, And that's the problem, you don't get to know all about the get out clauses until you buy the policy. KEEP AWAY from these people, pay a few quid extra and join a proper company that will come out to you and will have the tools they need to do the job properly.

stay away from this company and its sister company 24-7 they wont come out when you breakdown.there should be some sort of policing of these companys.because when you breakdown on the side of the motorway and you are stuck they wont come out to you everyone stay clear.pay a bit extra and join autonational rescue or start rescue

Probably! I cancelled my insurance after they tried to dump my car outside a closed garage on a bank holiday weekend (Sunday). There info is misleading and even though I took out their 'best' package, it didn't stop them charging me £80 to take me home. I got a refund after they admitted they were wrong, but cancelled due to their attitude! I'll certainly never use them again.
Report this content richardfh Written on: 11/08/2014
There most certainly is. Like the reviewer below, I thought 2Gether were the best thing since sliced bread until I had to use the service. It was appalling! I simply went with another provider and let my policy lapse. I believe the cancellation charge is £75 which is more than double what you pay for the policy. Never again!!!
