“Only problem is the paddles”

The best thing about this bread machine is the shape of the tin, the loaf never collapses from rising too much it is a narrow tin and you get a lovely tall loaf.
The worst thing is the paddles, they stick to the bread or they stick to the machine leaving two large wholes in the bottom of the loaf and now one of them after less than year is no longer catching the motor drive bit, so it wont kneed the bread until I can find a replacement paddle.
The display is a bit hard to read.

I had the same problem, but solved it by removing the paddles after the mixing stage. A bit messy, but then only leaves the spindle hole and not the whole paddle. Hope this helps.
