  Used my Bosch AXT 200 Rapid Shredder three times for maybe one hour in total.Only ran for about two minutes at a time to shred what i had cut.Then cut some more and shredded some more etc.Only very thin ash and conifer cuttings were put through it.Tried to start it the fourth time but nothing.Fuse is ok but there's a strong smell of burning.The motor isn't up to it I ...

  This is some kind of joke shredder, right? It wasn't actually meant to be used for leaves and twigs and stuff? And they call it a 'Rapid'!! Oh what a joke. I have a suggestion for a quicker way to shred leaves and twigs: take each leaf individually into your kitchen, sit down at the table and take out a little kitchen knife and chop the leaf into tiny pieces. This is far quicker than setting this 'shredder' up, shovelling leaves into it, then stopping every two minutes to unplug the ...

  Item: Bosch AXT Rapid 2200w Shredder
  I have owned this machine for a couple of years. While it worked it was brilliant. Then came the day when for no reason it started to make funny noises! I took it to my local power tool & equipment repairer who told me something small had broken inside but Bosch small parts were unavailable & I would have to buy a whole new motor..almost the cost of buying new machine. What a shame. I will be lost without it. Think I will invest in something a bit bigger next ...

  Would recomend this Bosch AKE 40-17 S saw as it works very well. I believe that the latest model has an improved chain tensioner.
