“not worth the money”

★☆☆☆☆

written by annipiani on 03/12/2012

We had a brand new Worcester Junior 28i Combi Condensing Boiler installed in 2005 on the recommendation of our very trustworthy plumber because he always thought Worcester Bosch were a good reliable make. How wrong could he be. After the first 6 months the timer stopped working so he had to replace the timer. At 4 years old, the boiler developed a leak and cost approx £300 to put right. Every year since then it has been troublesome, cutting out, developing other leaks, pressure constantly dropping. It is now 7 years old and has stopped working completely and are aware it is nearly at the end of it's life!!!! The old boiler was about 25 years old before it went. It has cost us a lot of money and regret the whole thing - why do manufacturers sell things that obviously have not been tried and tested to the max? We shall not be having another one installed.
