Viessmann Vitodens heat only boiler

We have installed over 100 of the Viessmann compact heat only boilers & have had one failure which was a duff combustion fan, this was dealt with promptly by Viessmanns own in house service engineer.

This boiler uses there own designed & manufactures Inox-radial stainless steel heat exchanger which has a 10 year warranty.

It should be noted that this heat exchanger is a "Full stainless steel" heat exchanger & not a cheaper (?) "Composite and stainless steel" heat exchanger as used by other boiler manufacturers .the boiler uses Pre-mix combustion,has an inbuilt water flow switch and can be installed with out pump "over run" meaning that the circulating pump does not need to be wired directly back to the boiler.The boiler does what it says on the tin and so far they have proved to be a very reliable boiler. We installed one Viessmann combination boiler and tbh I am of the opinion that the engineering and build quality should be an embarrassment to any engineer or manufacturer.apart from the heat exchanger and the circulating pump head the rest is plastic and rubber. Dire imho, the question is do they actually sell this boiler model in Germany? I doubt it? i doubt that the Germans would buy it?
