Had this fitted to a rental property. It has given a non stop supply of E4/E5 errors just like all the other bad reviews. I've had so many parts replaced there's too many to mention.
AVOID like the plague!!!

The E5 Error was a failure of the ignition module on my Avanta 39C. The same module passes the ionisation current to the controller.
The part was around £30 and it's a plug in part fitted within 5 minutes. People assume that because the boiler fires up that the ignition module is not at fault.
Another cause can be the main burner gasket that was originally a fireproof rope, It has been redesigned as a graphite gasket. Regular servicing should eliminate the burner gasket issue as they form part of the service kit.
