Have owned an Envoy 40 since they first came out around 15 years ago - it has been as good as any other boilers I have heard about, During that time there has been some replacements the biggest being the Control Unit and the ignitors seem to last about four years also usually replace the flame sensor at the same time, had one temperature sensor and the rubber gaskets replaced each time and during servicing which I do - just a hoover out of the debris so I would consider this to be a pretty successful boiler. All was covered by insurance so I am very happy with it and hopefully it will continue to perform as it has in the past. The gas 'people' say I should replace it but as its a condensing boiler and seems pretty economical I just do not see the point of changing it for changes sake. So all in all one happy customer with this Potterton product so far. Would I buy another similar one - not sure as haven't looked into it but I hear that the Worcesters are a good product anyway I will look into that when the time comes unless it outlasts me !
