do not buy or install ideal condensing boiler on any second floor as flue noise will send you mental contacted ideal do not want to know cheap boiler and even cheaper flue material definately not good company should be removed from producing items that turn a home into a house in hell (read more)

This is my second Ideal Boiler. The first one was an Ideal Mini. I had at LEAST 8 call outs in the first 8 months. Ideal said it was my water... the biggest T&C lie ever. It was just so bad that I had another boiler installed after 2 years- unfortunately, I got talked into an Ideal Logic Combi 30. In the first year- they had a batch of faulty heat exchangers- so they repaired it for free under warranty. I have so far had 2 new diverter valves and diverter valve heads. It is a nightmare.... This is the rubbish Persimmon fit in their homes. Brand new house brand new boiler, but already had this looked at over 5 times now due to ongoing problems with no hot water. This system only has a 2 year guarantee and is very easy to see why!!! (read more)

I have today had the misfortune of having one of these IDEAL LOGIC HEAT 15 boilers into my home...heres the review IT DOESNT WORK FAULTY ALREADY!!! Keeps reading F 4 faulty thermostat...yes I reset still wont work, more than five times now reads another fault you have preset reset more than five times in 15 minutes!!! Hope you got this sorted.we had the exact same problem,going to F fault,turned out it wasnt the boiler but the plumber had reversed the piping! all sorted and working fine now. poor you with three kids too.

Fitted these boilers for a while now with no problems.Im a breakdown engineer and find that 9 times out 10 the fault will lie somewhere within the installation. Occasionaly a wire will come loose during transportation and installation but any engineer with a basic knowledge should be able to rectify the fault. If the boiler is correctly registered with Ideal they will normally attend within 24 hrs. Hope your problem has been sorted out
