We had our boiler installed by British Gas in 2002 and it's given us nothing but trouble. We are so glad we have the Homecare cover from the gas board as it would have cost us a fortune to fix it every time. Their engineers have even told us that they no longer fit it as it gave them so much trouble. Shame for everyone who is stuck with it and can't really afford to replace it or feel they should have to ( in our case it was ''recommended'' by the British Gas salesman who, no doubt, was on a fat commission. It's latest escapade has so far meant TWO engineer visits this week plus another one booked in for Monday to replace the leaking heat exchanger. Ideal, you should be ashamed of yourselves for selling such rubbish - I am surprised you are still in business .
