my 86 year old Dad had this boiler installed 2010 worse decision the family made not fit for purpose why is this company allowed to continue trading? at least twice yearly visits from engineers fault finding to no avail. yet another fault today, had to switch off boiler and revert to an electric heater to try and keep Dad warm will have to scrap boiler and have another one installed from a different manufacturer Customer Service at Ideal couldn't care less. Boiler just didn't perform. You would hope for at least 10 trouble free years considering the initial cost to buy and install.If we had known at time of purchase what we know now would have never have considered an ideal boiler.
