“trouble maker boiler”

“cheap crap!!”

14 month old boiler. Engineer called out twice to fix the same fault within the space of 10 months. No hot water or heating. Engineer from another company advised the motor AND circuit board needing replaced at a cost of £300+. Unfortunately the boiler was not serviced by the previous owner of property within a year of being installed so the 10 year warranty is now null and void. Loads of cheap components in the boiler so no doubt the engineer will be called out to replace parts again soon… Read Full Review

“a world apart from my old heater”

The boiler works well, I can't fault the warrant, I had their out of hours contractor come out at 9 at night to find my old (15 year old) heating dial on the wall had packed in, they got it going straight away. I can't fault them. If the parts inside are as good as they say, I don't see their being a problem. Can't say I've had the problems described below, again B&Q put on the wall for me, it took a bit too long to get my install date booked - it wasn't the Mark Group who installed it… Read Full Review

“Save money dont bother”

Tried to have iqe fitted quoted £2100 at survey happy but installer wanted extra £700 to renew my pipe work this is where problems started I phoned around and a good friend of mine told me your pipes are fine and dont need to changing they are all 22ml I informed b&q of this they spoke to Iinstaller he suddenly changed his mind and said he can do the work at original quote! Gas supply should be 28mm,pipework to radiators for energy efficiency 10-15mm.If you are using an old ststem make sure it is cleaned out befre you have a new boiler installed.

The boiler (IQE35) was installed by Mark Group within one and a half days. There tradesmen were efficient (like the boiler) and courteous. I needed to upgrade my electrics before installation and Mark Group led me through it in a very friendly manner. I have saved money and reduced my greenhouse gas emissions… Read Full Review

“Easy to use, cheap to run”

I had the boiler installed in my house by B&Q after speaking to a sales assistant in a B&Q store. I chose the boiler as their quote was £300 cheaper than British Gas, but offered me 10 year cover on the boiler for free. So far so good, the boiler is quiet and has a green light to tell me everything is OK, I'm told it turns red if I need to do anything.
