Called Help Link last Friday 6/11/15, after Worcester Bosch Rep declared my 16 year old boiler unsafe and shut it down. At this stage had been without Hot Water and Heating for 2 days and help link was suggested as a option where you could pay monthly for a new boiler.

Phoned Help Link, and after a long period at about 9 am finally answered and they took all my details and situation fully explained. Need new boiler no hot water, no heating for last 2 days Boiler condemend.

I was told someone would call me back. Well after an hour and no one had, I started to panic, i have a job and it was my day off and needed to fix boiler pronto.

So phoned British Gas, who were amazing. Answered Call quickly, and booked appointment fairly quickly to look at fitting new boiler, but after asking did I have kids, mature people or disabled people living at address, which was a no, they said they could put me on a code Red/Amber ? And I'd get a call the minute they had a Rep in Area.

I got this 20 minutes later, and a BG rep was at my door 15 minutes later, after discussing requirements and payment plan, it all went through really quickly and from last Friday they were fitting it buy Tuesday and now have a new boiler fitted in less than a week and working wonderful. Yes it wasn't cheap, but you get what you pay for me thinks and the Service from BG has been Excellent and they offer payment plans for people that Work for a living.

I really cannot Fault BG, all sorted, but still to this day have not had a call back from Help Link. Perhaps they think I'm still having a wash in my pound land washing up bowl and hoping the weather stays mild til they call. Not Good Help Link.
