New installation - Grant Condensing Boiler

It's been just over one week since we've had the new condensing boiler installed. We needed to replace a previous Grant oil fired boiler which had been ancient and despite giving us good service, it always needed some type of repair every year in addition to the annual service. This was getting a bit tedious not only for us but our trusted boiler engineer so we decided to simply have it replaced by a Vortex Blue Grant Boiler. Although it's early days, we have been delighted with the novelty of having truly hot water (instead of lukewarm) and sufficient hot water production to run our showers and taps efficiently. It has been a constant struggle to deal with the previous boiler's nuances and temperamental behaviour. We have high hopes for this new boiler because of its specified efficiency and low emissions claims by the manufacturer. This review is to give a sense that the product is working well but it is also to reflect that installation of the boiler was problem free and speedy - all done in 2 days!! We put that down to the quality of the boiler but also our extremely talented boiler engineer to whom we are extremely grateful. I shall follow up with an additional review in 12 months so that there is a better summary of the actual product and its workings!!
