We had endless attempts to cure the old boiler, installed in the utility room, of its various smells. Couldn't get rid of the fuel oil smell when it was operating.

Finally decided to install an outside boiler- Grant Vortex Pro 15-21Kw. Since it's been very hot since we installed it and the solar thermal means we haven't even needed it for hot water, I can't say what it's like when it's running! So can't in all honesty give it 5 stars - yet.

However I'm sure it'll all be fine and if it still smells, at least we won't have the smell in the house.

Installation by CHG South West (we live near Dorchester) was excellent, I'd recommend them.
