We bought for a flat the Ferroli Optimax He 31c Combi and its been nothing but trouble. But its the service side that really has failed. I had an 82 year old tenant in Penzance and I have been driven nearly to distraction trying to get an engineer down or even to get an appointment for one. Blue Flame used to do it but their contract was discontinued in January. Ferroli pretended that a new supplier in Bristol would handle it and all would be fine, until I phoned them and they said they did not cover anything like so far as Cornwall or Devon. So a complete lie and today hanging on their 0871 8p a minute line for ages all to no result. Four days just trying to get an engineer appointment and nothing achieved and the poor old man with no hot water and just the heaters I took down. Worst company I have ever dealt with and when it comes to boilers that is saying something.
