We decided to travel in Vietnam with Halongbooking office. The company website is halongbooking When we emailed them to find out more about their services, we immediately received a reply from Ms. Cham from the company. She is the most professional and detailed-oriented tour operator I have ever known during my trip in Vietnam. She offered us very good prices for package tours including very good hotels in Hanoi, Halong and Sapa trip. Our trips were perfectly arranged and we were really excited about them. They even gave us a cell phone in case of emergency or in case help was needed. And Ms. Cham always took care of us - she even called us to make sure everything was ok after we left for the tours.

Sapa was a bit cold and foggy. We definitely couldn’t see the flowers blooming but we loved that place with beautiful scenery, which is different from Hanoi crowded with motorbikes. We met a group of tourists who complained that they had to sleep on noisy and uncomfortable train, but we had comfortable nights from Hanoi to Sapa and on the way back on the train arranged by Halongsapa Tours. When we were back to Hanoi from Sapa in the early morning, amazingly their staff was waiting for us at the train station to take us to our hotel. He was very nice. The little conversations between us warmed up the cold weather of the early morning. How nice it was that somebody was there to make sure you travels in a strange place were safe.
Then we went to Halong Bay for a 2 days 1 night trip. Ahh it was also a really enjoyable experience. At first, we wanted to book with Indochina Sails but they were fully booked so Halongbooking offered us Calypso Cruise instead. We would have been happy to pay for Indochina Sails which is one of the most expensive luxury cruises, because we were a little concerned that we might not have the same experience with Calypso. After we saw many positive reviews on Tripadvisor about Calypso, so we decided to give it a try. The company got our trust.

To our surprise, our trip was wonderful, it offered much more than we expected. The food was awesome. The boat was of high quality and elegantly finished, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our guide was excellent. He seemed to well understand what we wanted to know about Halong Bay, which I have not always had in other trips before.

Because our trip was pretty cramped with a lot of things to do and places to visit, we went straight to the airport after returning from Halong Bay. Ms. Cham didn’t forget to remind us about timing. She said in case of traffic jam, she would arrange a car to pick us up in the middle of the way to go to the airport for free. We were appreciative of her services for our trip. When we arrived in Hanoi, Mr. Haong, who picked up us at the train station, was again waiting for us with a smile. When we were seated in his car, we felt that saying thanks to these people at Halongbooking did not seem enough. I do believe that this company is making great efforts to advocate for their genuinely high-quality services.

I highly recommend Halongbooking.net. I have told my friends in the US to contact the company if they want to tour around Northern Vietnam when they visit next year. One more thing, next time we will get a 3 days 2 nights tour to enjoy more of Halong Bay.
