After an eternity choosing a sofa and armchair, I finally decided on a praline sofa and armchair and bought it from Paul Simon in Swindon with **** **** the sales advisor. No problems with delivery six weeks later unitl the wrapping came off and I thought that's darker than I remember. Went into the store and realised they had sent me the wrong colour. Spoke to **** who apologised profusely and said the wrong box was ticked and given me jumbo chocolate! Said a manager would call me in the next day or two, a week later no call received so I went in and spoke to another assistant called **** who also apologised and said manager **** would call me without fail on the weekend. No surprise that no call ever materialised. So back into the store where lo and behold I met **** on the shop floor who told me that his staff had not informed him that I needed a call. And on trying to make my complaint to him, all he could say is 'you need to write to our head office' constantly. Totally useless. And you have to write to them as in his words 'customer service at head office won't know anything about sofas so they will just write to us and get the lowdown on whats happened from us'. So tried to call head office at 4.30pm, no reply, it just rings out! Aaaaagggghh. Total waste of time this company, first time I've used them - NEVER EVER again. AVOID at all costs if you know what's good for your sanity!
