I ordered fabric and they told me 5 days later it was damaged. I was expecting fabric within 3/4 days as promised on emails. Then he said I would have to wait another 2 weeks. So I sourced elsewhere and cancelled the order. I phoned to cancel, as well and told its was okay and then 45 mins later they told me they had dispatched it already. They couldn't provide evidence. I cant accept delivery now as I dont believe him and worried that the roll of fabric maybe the original damaged one. Thank god for credit card protection!

Just used this company and now got my curtains. They were well made with very good finish. Will be using them again later in the year, i was a little unsure to use them , but they now have new owners as far as i can see, they have a new address too. But all i can say is that i had no problem at all really impressed even with the samples.

I have used this company over the last 3 years, although they went bust last year, i have now found out the website is now back again under new owners and i can confirm that they are back to normal. I got my samples last month, and yesterday i got my Curtains which i had made. I just want to let people know they are back running , i wish them all the best and i will continue to buy from them again in the future.

Being unable to contact Curtains Direct about my order I was informed by one of their suppliers that they had closed down and would likely be in liquidation.

Does anyone have a name for the liquidator/receiver so that we can write to them to let them know we are unsecured creditors. Any-things worth a try. I've sent letters to the works and his home address without reply. May have to go through the small claims court if only to leave him with a CCJ that makes life difficult.

I ordered curtains on the 27/9/14. 5 days later was told by email they were in production but had nothing more since despite 2 emails... looking at other reviews looks like I won't be getting my curtains..

Despite speaking to someone to confirm fabric details, two weeks later after paying in full the site has closed down and guess what? Im getting no curtains. They wont answer phone nor reply to nail. If they start up again avoid like the plague.

I can't talk about the online side of the business as I visited one of the shops instead but I have had exactly the same problem as the person writing the review below. I checked up on the status of my order having heard nothing for about 9 weeks. After eventually managing to get through to someone who promised to call back to let me know what was going on and again not hearing anything I called into the shop where my order took several minutes to locate. Then I wasn't even given a clear reason as to why my order wasn't ready - they could only tell me that the order was delayed, and the company supplying the curtains wouldn't tell them why. I can only presume this was an excuse and my order hadn't even been placed. I quickly realised that my husband's instinct on first visiting the shop was right. He thought it would end badly. I was prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt because I had found some really nice curtain material there. I got a refund and went elsewhere. I will not be going back to this shop.

Having ordered curtains, at only £50 cheaper than I could have got them locally, as website wasn't clear that you had to add VAT to the price quoted, and told they would be 3 -4 weeks, I eventually cancelled my order as had to keep chasing to be finally told after 9 weeks the curtains weren't even made. Very disappointed at the complete lack of communication.

all i have to say is what great service this company offer, we ordered online but would collect from their office as we had a day out, when we visited to collect the fabric is was well wrapped and on a roll. While we where looking in their showroom we decided to order more fabric as there was so many fabric books to look at. Customer service was very good, very helpful and website is so easy to use. Nothing more to improve such a nice company..

Having previously ordered from OnlineCurtainFrabric via the internet approx a year a go,and being very happy with the resulting blinds, this time I read on their website that they now have a customer showroom. Great, I will go and have a look. Having made a special journey to do this and armed with all my wallpapers, I arrived at the unit. No signs downstairs as to where to go, so presumed I had to go upstairs. Found a small show room area and a chap came out of the office. He was most unhappy that I had not looked on the internet to tell him which materials I wanted to look at. He then proceded to tell/show me how to use his website as they dont keep samples of all the fabrics! (having graduated in computers studies, I found this rather patronsing to say the least!!!) All I wanted to do was match up the colours from my wallpapers. We were made to feel very uncomfortable and certainly unwelcome. I decided we should leave as it was such an uncomfortable atmosphere and just looking through the samples was going to be too much trouble. The guy offered no apology at all when I told him how he had made us feel. There have no customer service skills whatsoever. Yes it might be an online company, but hey- you still need to comunicate with people too. BIG MISTAKE - I actually needed curtains for two whole houses and some hotel bedrooms this visit. The order value was going to be in the region of £2k. I will never deal with this company again.

I placed an order over the phone and was assured I would recieve curtains by christmas. Day of delivery no curtains came so I phoned and was told I would get call first thing. Next day ( another day off work) no call. I rang only to be told they didn't have my measurements so no order had been processed and they had not been able to contact me as there was no answer at home. I have an answer phone which I receive messages daily. What annoyed me so much was lying about contacting me and not admitting messing up my order, when i challenged he had lost my details he denied it but he had given me a price and took my credit card details and a delivery date! No apology or even offering to do something, I hung up in the end as they are clearly incompetent and don't care about their customers. I have never had such poor customer service.

Irequired a pair of curtains and also one door curtain and could not find any company willing to make up just a single curtain. I phoned Onlinecurtainfabrics and was advised to email them with my requirments and they replied immediately with a price. I ordered the curtains and received them within a week. Excellent service. The fabric was one I had seen at Next and the price quoted by Onlinecurtains was about £100 cheaper. Would recomment this company and intend to use them again when I require summer curtains.

I would just like to say how helpful the sales team where on the phone and by email at Online Curtain Fabrics Ltd. I had 4 Pairs of curtains made and each one was finished to a very good standard. I have also told friends about them and they have already had their curtains back and are well please. I have also just bought some fabrics to make my cushions, although the min order had to be 4 metres. Great Prices Too I see this company has had great reviews and they always answer the phone which a lot of other website don`t.. Ian, Birmingham, Uk

After seeing curtain fabric in M & S in their sale, I wondered if I would be able to find it cheaper online. I was happy to find online curtains and calculated how much I would save. Unfortunately I stupidly missed that the price did not include VAT so all in all I only saved £50 on 3 very large sets of curtains. I continued anyway feeling that it was still a saving. When the curtains arrived I have to admit I was very disappointed, some of the pinch pleats on one set were not very straight and the joins were slightly rucked. I hope that this will be corrected when I take them down to iron them, which will not be an easy task. So with hind sight I think maybe my saving of £50 was not such a good deal.

What a fantastic service. Easy to use website with instant quoting tool, so that ordering was quick and easy. My curtains arrived quickly, were delivered wrapped in tissue paper in a box and are exactly the measurements I ordered. The price I paid was significantly less than in several shops that I checked. I've just hung them and they look amazing!

Was on the web looking for new curtains for my Grandaughters bedroom.

Well - my comments are firstly - what a great site.
Easy to get around & locate what I was looking for.
Hundreds of selections/fabrics/patterns on there.
When received - Excellent quality.

After failing to obtain our desired curtain fabric locally, I scanned the web and found Online Curtain Fabrics. To ensure they had the patten I wanted I rang them up and spoke to a helpful and charming man who, I found, was prompt, informative and as it turned out, very reliable. My curtain material was almost instantly ordered on receipt of payment and I was informed by phone that it would soon be on its way.
I now have my curtains and would heartily recommend this company to all my friends.

I was horrified by the cost of curtains in our local store and decided to try my luck online. I selected four potential suppliers after looking at what they were offering, and asked them all for samples of materials I had chosen. Of the four, www.onlinecurtainfabrics.com was the most communicative (e.g. the samples weren't sent immediately, but I was emailed and kept up to date with why). The quote was by far the most competitive, the service was excellent by email and telephone, and when the curtains arrived, earlier than expected (I had an important deadline to meet), the packing, condition and workmanship were exemplary. I have no hesitation in recommending this company as a curtain supplier, and I will certainly use them again.
