Breach of contract

In May 2014, I had Hilarys give me a quotation, they had given me one sometime earlier but as Hillarys had their sale on I wanted a quote based on the sale price. The quote during the sale was higher than the quote I was given, earlier. I rang the HQ and they honored the original quotation. I paid my 50% deposit took more time off for the surveyor to come. Signed a contract on 17/6 and was told that I would have the wooden shutters in 12 weeks. Today I received a letter stating that I had contacted them which I hadn't but I rang them anyway. A customer service representative told me that they did not make the shutters that I had ordered. I pointed out that was total rubbish as Hilarys had fitted the exact same shutters to three of my neighbours houses. Then she changed her story to say that they had stopped making these blinds 3 weeks ago. But they had taken my order and money some considerable time before this. No apology was given, and when I asked to speak to someone in authority I was told that I would get a call back in the next 24 hours. How can you trust a company that takes your money then cancels the order some 6 - 7 weeks later?
