I've used BlindsUK on a number of occasions, and in fairness to them, when they get it right, they are no problem at all. You order, you receive a confirmation, you receive your blinds, as simple and as straight forward as it gets.
When they get it wrong, wow! They know how to really look after their customers. Having spent close to £800 with them, I ordered a set of five blinds for my living room bay window, of which, four arrived via TNT, with one of them missing and declared lost by the courier.
I contacted BlindsUK via their telephone number on their site, and insisted the blind was missing, they said they would investigate and get back to me, i heard no more so had to contact them again.
Contact and communication is where they really excel in, in the worst form possible. They have a customer services team which is only contactable via their Sales team, not by phone, but by internal email or skype, so you will never get an answer on the telephone from someone directly in their customer service team, only via an email message.
I was told that the blind had been deemed lost and they would send out a replacement the following week. The week past and there was no sign of the blind, or any form of contact from them, so it was left to me to contact them again to see what was happening. Unbelievably they claimed it had been lost again, and then they said it hadn't been remade, but would get me another blind out the following week. So, another week passes, and another failed delivery, and yet again failed communication with me as to where the blind was this time. Three weeks on from the original delivery I am sat waiting for the blind again, with no courier tracking information again, and surprise surprise no sign of the blind.
This is where the fun begins, in calling their Sales team (as no member of the customer service team will make human voice contact with any of their customers) to find out what on earth is going on, i was informed, via the customer services team, that the blind would be remade again, but that the grey cords I had originally ordered were out of stock until January of next year.
They offered me a refund of the cheapest blind on the order, which was an insult after all the hassle and inconvenience they've caused me on this. I've currently got three of the five blinds hanging in my living room windows, with the whole world able to look in on me and my family. According to their returns and refunds policy they have some badly written excuses about made to order products not being returnable or refundable, so they basically have you where they want you and will treat you like a no one in the process.
They no longer answer my calls, they continually cut me off when calling on a withheld number, they don't respond to any email communication.
If you look this company up you will find it impossible to review their company on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google, or any form of social media. They even have their company address as hidden as possible, which turns out to be an office in Coventry with no direct number, or even a VAT number to trace the Directors. Absolutely despicable company which has no regard for their customers.
