Looking at the reviews for Blindsuk.net, I was cautious of ordering. I proceeded with ordering 4 blinds to see how they got on. Of the 4 ordered, only one was the correct width as I had ordered. The other 3 were 10mm too narrow and a gap would be left each side of the window if I fit them.

I have emailed Blindsuk.net with the problem. I have also called them but they advised to wait for the email reply. Well.... here I am waiting.

I will update the review when the problem gets resolved.

Well well well.... it seems that the extensive poor reports on this company are not unfounded. If you want a blind that fits a recess... then add 9mm to your measured width. They replied as follows:

Please note the sizes of the headrails received are correct. The order was placed for recessed size blinds which means the factory will make a 10mm clearance allowance from the width and 12mm from the drop inserted on the order. This information can be found on the colour page on the website:

Although made to measure goods are not returnable/refundable under Distance Selling Act and as per our terms and conditions, we would be willing to offer you new headrails at the desired sizes, at a reduced price. Please advise the sizes of the headrails that you require and we will advise the price quote.
