“motor breaks down”

I have owned the Vitamix TNC since august 2008.The motor has just packed up. This is after years of lightest use, to put it mildly. Apparently I only had a three year warranty. The cost of repair is uneconomic. A life of five years for such an expensive item borders on a breach of the UK Sales of Goods legislation but that leaves me having to sue them. I won't bother but I am posting this as a warning to other consumers.

I would never buy a Vitamix anything again
