The first blender I bought was allegedly new, but had obviously already been used when I got it home and removed it from the box. Because it looked stylish and was a reputable make, I returned it and the shop issued me with a replacement. This proceeded to smoke and stop working, after only three attempts to make it to do nothing more than it was meant to.

If I knew where Mr Breville lived, I would throw it through his window - it's good for nothing else.
