Smells Like Skunk
I purchased a 6 pack of Corona Extra after a fellow Celiac sufferer told me she has drank Corona for years and never gets a bad reaction from it as it is extremely low in gluten. I checked online, and yes, although not listed as a gluten free beer it has less parts per mil of gluten than some beers labled gluten free.
The second I opened a bottle, and overpowering Skunk odor filled the room. I couldn't get the bottle to my lips, the stench was so overpowering. I poured it into a stein and placed the bottle into the recycle bin. The next guest who walked into my house commented on the skunk spray scent and asked if our vermin were back. Even the next day when putting other items in the recycle bin, I was hit with an overpowering scent of skunk spray. Absolutely horrible.
I'm not sure who will be drinking the remaining 5 bottles but I do know that it won't be at my house. Absolutely horrible stuff.

Regular Drinker Of Corona Extra Enjoys A Citrus Slice
A lovely Mexican beer, great when it comes straight out of the fridge.
Put a slice of lime or orange into the bottle to make it taste even nicer.

A Few Countries In The World Have A Good Beer Cult
A few countries in the world have a good beer culture. Places where it's kind of the national (non-spirit) drink of choice, where the image of beer and country are inextricably linked. You think Czech Republic, Germany, Britain, Ireland all famed for their characteristic beer. Mexico is another one on the list. Corona and Sol are the big worldwide brands that are synonymous with lazing on a tropical beach or hanging out in the shady, green courtyard of a hacienda. Whilst neither is by any measure the best Mexico has to offer, they are easy to get hold of and of the two Corona is the better
It's a little tasteless and needs to be very cold.It also needs to have a wedge of lime in the bottle to become a very refreshing drink if served correctly (squeeze the juice of the lime into the bottle, then plop the squeezed lime into the beer and gently invert it to get a good lime flavour)
.
Goes brilliantly with Mexican food, especially if you have some tequila to follow it up with afterwards.
On the downside there is an element of marketing over substance like with many global beer brands, but this is at least a better drink than many of it's global competitors originating from north of the Rio Grande

I Grew Up In So. Cal. And Drank All Kinds Of Beer.
I grew up in So. Cal. and drank ALL kinds of beer. Everything from Mickey's Big Mouth (does that even qualify as beer) to Dos Equis and of course Corona. I acquired a taste for it then and now that I live in PA I still Love my Corona. It's the best beer ever, and we have to buy it by the case full here! It doesn't last long anyway while the others sit in the refrigerator untouched. I LOVE my Coronas!

I will never waste my money on another bottle of this stuff. It is terrible. Its tasteless, too gassy, overpriced and has no body to it whatsoever. Its for people who have an inexperienced taste pallet or just don't care what they're drinking!
Or for ppl that grew up on these kind of beers. Just sayin don't be such a Nazi in tejas this is A1 with lime and salt and some girls I couldn't dream of a better afternoon

The Fact Is, That To Drink This Corona Extra Beer
The fact is, that to drink this Corona Extra beer properly you must insist to your mate who is buying or to the barmaid who is serving that a sliced lemon stuffed half way down the neck of the bottle, with the back end poking out of the eye of the opening, is absolutely essential in any case. This beer has a slightly less alcohol content at around the 4.7% area, which helps accommodate the hangover the next day. The lemon may seem to lager fuelled non-experts, that you appear a bit feminine - however a true man of macho charisma will not feel ashamed to ask for a lemon inserted into the neck of this drink at his local Ferrit & Spanner pub.
I was in Chicago Rock the other night and following several bottles of Corona, I began to experience symptoms that you document so eloquently in your fantastic review. Together with this I experienced an upsurge in confidence with regards to my own fighting capabilites and of my magnetism and appeal to the opposite sex, the bar was also significantly lowered with the regards to the standard of lady I would usually find attractive, so drink responsibly folks or you could reap insurmountable consequences. Great review
