Lovely bed & mattress - but don't expect any service!

I ordered the Cleveland 3ft single bed frame and the Belmont quilted mattress.

To save a great long review, the bed is very good quality and the mattress is also great.

Customer Service
Pretty much nil. I placed my order and paid online, but I did not receive any confirmation of my order. Two days later I decided to phone them. The website is so adamant that you SHOULD NOT call them, that I emailed. I received an abrupt response:

"You have gmail? You confirmation order was sent on XXXXX - check your spam. Delivery is next Thursday. You will receive a confirmed time by 9pm the day before.

XXXXX
Strictly Bed and Bunks"

I did not receive the order confirmation or the time confirmation at any point, not to my spam, not anywhere. The bed did arrive on the Thursday, at 4pm. Fine. The delivery man cannot help you up the stairs with your purchase. I think this is an insurance thing, so I get it, but be aware of this fact.

Putting the bed together was fine but does require some common sense as the set of instructions actually applies to three different beds. So you're reading instructions for a kingsize bed, when in my case, I was assembling a single. I had some extra parts which were for the kingsize, not the single, and spent time looking for parts that I didn't need as they only applied to the kingsize.

A couple of days later I received my invoice in the post. If I had known this was coming, I would not have worried about my order so much.

Good bed - minimal service.
