Value for money mattress topper

I purchased a bed with a very firm mattress and as I sleep mainly on my side I started to get pains in my upper back, my wife complained of numbness and tingling in her arm. It was obvious the bed was the cause and I did not want to replace a perfectly good bed with another on, so opted to go for a mattress topper. After some extensive research, I opted for a foam mattress. It was important to get a good quality one that has enough density to last. When we received it, it was well packed and compressed and at first I thought I'd ordered a single instead of a double but when I checked it I was relieved to see it was a double. I followed the instructions to allow it to expand for 24 hours. On fist use we could immediately notice the difference. No more back pain and a comfortable nights sleep. The mattress bounces back up to normal after each use so it does not sag. It has been once of my wisest decisions but only time will tell if it stays that way. The only issue I have is that it does get warm which suits my wife but this is a small sacrifice for me.
