“Don't do it!”

Two days waiting at home later, we are still without the sofa that should have been delivered (exchanged for one that was not fit for purpose might I add). Not only are we still without the product (that is all paid for - that bit was efficient) but in the meantime we have spent a lot of time and effort chasing up our delivery. “5 stars for the worst customer service I have ever...”

I placed an order and paid in full for a dining table and 4 chairs on 2nd January 2017 (with Bela) and was advised that they would be delivered in February as the dining table was initially out of stock. “Dreadful”

Terrible insincere service, lots of 'how are you', 'we will sort this out' 'promise to turn this around' etc. Paid 28/1/17 promised delivery 21/2/17, no sign of anything. Delivery cancelled the day before expected delivery day, because they ordered the wrong mattress even though I got them to confirm order by email too. Luckily, I didn't have to take a day off work! “Slow..”

Extended lead times - 11 weeks in and still have not received my footstool on a 7-9 week lead time. In Stock items - Although in stock they only send with the items on a long lead time so you are waiting unnecessarily so they can save the carriage charge. On hold - Always for at least 25 mins and have called during the week, last thing at night and saturday morning, always them same. Worse than BT. They need to invest more in customer service staff . All true. I am having exactly the same problem and actually called the delivery depot to sort out myself. From my dereadful experience of Loaf I shall never order from them again. Paid nearly £2,500 for a bed/mattress/side table in January and still waiting...even worse they cocked up on the mattress order and that will now take even longer to be delivered. Hugely frustrating and has postponed moving in to new bedroom because of it by nearly two months, all should of been delivered together on 21/2/17 Also, still waiting for £60 delivery refund as they cancelled initial delivery due to mattress reorder. No sign of that.

If you are thinking of buying anything from Loaf please DON'T we have had a horrific experience with them and STILL waiting for our refund, which if we don't get it soon we will have to take legal action to recover. I ordered my sofa almost four months ago and was promised delivery in November (it's now almost Christmas). All looked good until I got a call from the courier saying Loaf had cancelled the delivery - Loaf then claimed the courier had lost it. “Broken promises and terrible service”

Bought a new bed in November, so we'd have it well before Christmas - even called them at time of order to check it was in stock, rather than risk just a web purchase. Two weeks later, still no contact from Loaf, so tried (and failed) to get a hold of them on the phone. I went on loaf.com to buy a tv unit. Their website said that the unit was out of stock but that it would be coming in to stock in mid November. Ordered a bed Base 5 weeks ago. Had to chase myself to a contractor to get a date after hearing nothing. Set up a date and time, wasn't delivered (no phone call to let me know). “Waste of time and money”

They are quick to take your money but a month past ordering the item and we still haven't received it, it was supposed to be delivered 3-5 days later. They fail to manage the situation and it is us that have chased for explanations at every stage. Their phone system and email system is rubbish as you can never get through to them and if they do call you back it is at least 2 days later. We ordered a Crumpet sofa on the 20th September, we were told delivery would be made mid November, we accepted this but made the point it couldn't be any later as we were expecting a baby early November. We have heard nothing despite leaving voicemail messages on their frankly rubbish phone system, no response to the email sent either. We bought a Sofa for £2500 from Loaf and were called about a month later and it was scheduled in for delivery. The day of the delivery we received notification the driver would be with us mid morning. The driver then called to say he was an hour away. 20 minutes later my husband received a call to say there had been a mistake and they didn't have our sofa but it would be with us in about a month. “Totally shocked and appauled”

We have taken delivery of 4 items from loaf, fri 14/10/16 (yesterday) totalling 7300.00+after waiting almost 9 weeks. Every item was damaged on delivery and refused by us. Some of the damage may have been caused during transit? But who knows? If loaf used their own delivery methods instead  sub contractors, in this case wincanton deliveries. Has anyone purchased the loaf atticus sofa? It is impossible to sit comfortably on and the seat cushions are far to heavy and basically slide off and the back cushions squidge down to nothing. We have had a Loaf Atticus sofa for the past month and I would agree with all the comments above. I am not a big person (8 stone) but after sitting on it for half an hour, all of the feathers have fallen forward so that the seat cushions are falling off, and the back cushions have squished down flat. Every hour or so you need to take all of the really heavy cushions up to 'plump them up' so that you can sit down properly. It looks a mess, nothing like the photos on the website. I will be requesting a refund - it was such a lot of money, which I would happily have paid for a comfy sofa which looked like the ones on the website. Completely rubbish design.......

Following a month long wait for the mattresses (although I was aware of the 'out of stock' situation) it was finally delivered. However, the slot I was given for delivery was from 10:15am to 11:15am. I fully appreciate that given the traffic in London, this is not always feasible, however, after arranging to be at home for the delivery, the two mattresses did not turn up until 7pm that evening! Some of the worst customer service I've ever seen - at the most senior levels. Treat customers with contempt, and falsely advertise lead times. Order £5k worth of stuff. A week after I ordered Loaf emailed to tell me that they didn't have the material needed to produce my sofa, and instead of taking 6-8 weeks (which is STILL advertised on the website despite them knowing it can't possibly be met), it would now take 11 weeks. I have had three bad experiences with Loaf in the last 6 months 1. I had a bed delivered that was meant to be assembled.
