hi every one I bought a bed from in 2012 I had to take them to court I was suscessful using mediation it took a long time to take them to court they changed dates all the time delayed the court they wrote untrue thing about how I was the bad customer mediation can be used at court that normally have a free court welfare section to show you how to fill out court papers as they have to be done in a set way I didn't get a quarter of what I paid for the duel bed with the bed its self and court cost… Read Full Review

We ordered a leather eco bed. This is not leather and as it turns out none of the 'leather' beds are unless you place a special delivery. We were initially disappointed when we got the bed as it was not real leather. We contacted Laybrook and they were very nice about it. Excellent service from a First Class supplier. Customer service by telephone and email was always knowledgeable, professional, helpful and friendly. Delivery was exceptionally punctual by an engineer who took care to explain the structure of the mattress and how it should be used with my existing adjustable bed. Decided on a quality adjustable bed following a spell in hospital. Liked the Laybrook website, especially the section allowing me to build a bed by adding features and understanding the cost at each stage. “Unclear Information on Website - Courier option useless”

I tried to order a Chatsworth bed with a regular sprung mattress and massage function, it was possible to order this combination but I was then phoned to be told it wasn't possible, that wasn't such a big deal though. The delivery options for the bed were "Courier 30 pounds" and "Delivery and Installation 55 pounds (takes 10 to 14 days)". “First Class Comfort and Relaxation”

The lady at Laybrook gave really good advice which enabled us choose the right bed. We have the king size with two memory foam mattresses. The comfort of the mattresses is exceptional and being able to raise the top and bottom of the bed means you can choose a position that suits you. “Terrible customer service”

Laybrook are OK as long as you don't want to return the bed. They're very enthusiastic over the phone when selling, but just try contacting them when there is a problem! They don't answer the phone and when you leave a message it is ignored. My bed had to be returned and they decided it had two minute marks on it, which I couldn't prove were already there when it was delivered. They won't reply to messages or emails, make sure you phone during office hours so that you actually talk to a person. I used the sales number and the delivery number and the form on the back of the invoice! Don't give up. Best of luck (you'll need it)!!!

Laybrook did contact me after the Xmas holidays. They promptly agreed to make some height adjustments to the bed. I can now say that we are happy with bed and the service follow up from laybrook.

Don't expect any help or advice from them they are only interested when you are ordering goods from them and as soon as there's a problem the manager is coincidentally never at work! They have tricked my nan out of hundreds. I am in the process of taking them to court I will not let them keep getting away with this no matter how much it costs me!

I am having the same trouble with this scamming company. My elderly disabled nan spent over £400 on a mattress and I have seen better quality mattresses thrown onto a skip.
They are taking advantage of elderly vulnerable people and need to be stopped. Customer service is atrocious when my nan or I ring about the problem I am told "we have been through this argument" and hang up! Scamming pigs.

Sorry to hear about your problem with customer service. Maybe you should try to contact Sleepmatic (see below), although they have never explained what their relationship is to Laybrook. I know they have had loads of positive reviews, I can only assume that these people didn't have any problems because that's when the trouble starts. I'm still seething over the way I was treated and the money Iost (£266.00 +2% charge for paying with a credit card) after nearly six months!!

Dear Madam
Thank you for your comments. On the day that we went to collect your bed, Mark the engineer contacted his manager to say that the surround of the bed was damaged. We are happy to take any bed back that is not a special order or damaged by a customer as is clearly stated on the website.
Although it is company policy not to take the bed back if it is damaged, we agreed to make an exception for this customer and unfortunately we had to charge £266.00 for the damage caused.
Laybrook customer service lines are open Mon-Thu 9am-5pm and Fri 9am-4pm, email is available and there is a cancellation form on the back of the order form if needed. We were closed from the 19/12/13 until 02/01/14 for annual holidays. Our sales lines were open from 9am to 8pm over the shut down period even on Christmas day. Customers that need to contact us for ANY reason can do so 7 days a week by the free-phone telephone number, email or after office hours you can leave a message and we will contact you as soon as possible.
We can understand that you were unhappy with having to pay for the surround but we really thought we were trying to do the best for you by allowing you to return the bed, We are sorry you feel it was not the best course of action.
