“Would you risk a mattress that doesn't meet a BS fire...”

Purchased two of these mattresses. Get a letter some months later stating that they do not meet the BS 5852 (naked flame) test. That means you would not be safe if a flame caught hold of the bed. Hypnia (who are the same company as the one organising the recall) couldn't have been more helpful.

Only way to make fireproof is to send to Dorset at my own cost!

Shocking. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

I have received the same letter and I am appalled. Luckily I bought my mattress on my credit card so I have contacted them and they will be issuing a chargeback to the retailer (which means a refund for me). I suggest you do the same.
